SUN-DRIED TOMATOES
Ordering and storing instructions Sun-dried tomatoes can be stored in a cold room or standard fridge and, if not available, in a cool dry, dark area (free of strange gasses or odours). Tomatoes can also be soaked in water without losing quality or characteristics. The tomato is an annual fruit therefore they must be planted every year to provide a crop for drying. It is vitally important for us to receive the orders in time. Large orders must be received by at least the beginning of July, so that we can plan and plant. We carry reserves and can handle continuous orders. Price (Sun-dried tomato halves and powder): R33/kg FOB Cape Town (excl. VAT in South Africa) ± R2.00/kg seafreight to Felixstowe U.K. / ± R8.60/kg airfreight to U.K. January 1999 currency: R33 = $5.50 ($1.00 = R6.00) R33 = 3.30 pound (1.00 pound = R10.00) R33 = 4.78 euro (1.00 euro = $1.15) Swanpack Fruit CC produces a wide range of dried vegetables and fruit.
